The Library holds almost 24,000 full-text E-Journals through different sources. To make it easy and convenient for our users to search and use these E-Journals has always been one of our goals. Therefore, in March this year, we introduced MetaFind -- http://umaclib3.umac.mo/screens/metafind_note.html -- which enables you to search E-Journals across a range of databases. Now, here is another way for you to make better use of the E-Journals -- you may access these E-Journals via the Library Catalog at http://umaclib3.umac.mo/.

You may now search the Library Catalog for all print and electronic journals available at or through UM Library at the same time and it is the most comprehensive source of links to full-text E-Journals. If you are looking for a particular journal and want to know if it is available online, you can search the name of publication by using "Title" or "ISSN" search functions. The availability dates or coverage for an E-Journal is displayed. It will then link you directly to the issues of that E-journal. We will incorporate the "Subject" and "Keyword" functions later in the second phase of this enhancement project.
